Setup Shopfront

ShopFront uses standard OAuth workflows to allow access to WineRelique. So you can setup access from your ShopFront store within VendorConnect.


First, login to VendorConnect. If you don't have a login please contact us.


Once logged in, go to the Admin tab at the top. At the bottom of this page are all your data sources that we utilise. One of those will be setup with a name and a type of "ShopFront". If this store is ready to be authorised, then there will be a "connect" button as per the screenshot :

The Data Source and type are all set beforehand, so if there's no Data Source for ShopFront or the Connect button is not visible, contact us to get you setup.


You will be asked for your shop name, which is part of the domain name you use to access shopfront, like myshopName.shopfront.com :

When you click OK, a new browser window will open that asks you to login to ShopFront.


If you have any issues with the login page opening it may because you browser disallows popup windows. Allow the page to open a popup window first. You may need to close the dialog and try again if the login page didn't load.


After you login, you will be asked to Authorise the WineRelique application. We request access to the "See Products" permission which doesn't allow us to make any changes to data or see anything else other than product information :

Click on Authorise to allow access. After a short wait, VendorConnect will be able to locate your login details and then will present you with a success dialog.

We will validate the connection and setup your new products and then will let you know when your products will go live.
